Virginia Tech Emails

This project was completed for FourDesign, now rebranded as Limestone Creative, a student-led design studio at Virginia Tech. Our team was tasked with designing recruitment emails for Virginia Tech’s graduate programs to encourage prospective students to apply to specific master’s programs. I was responsible for designing emails for the Theatre and Creative Technologies programs. For the Theatre program, I created a straightforward, level-one email focused on clarity and structure. For Creative Technologies, however, I was encouraged to explore a more distinctive visual direction. I developed a gaming-inspired concept in which the email mimics an in-game announcement screen that appears when a user logs in. The header, “Ready to spawn into your future?”, was designed as a glitching GIF to reinforce the gaming aesthetic and create a more immersive, interactive experience.
